EDC Systems QLD completed data and communications works as part of a five-floor government office refurbishment in Caboolture.
The project included the supply and installation of a new Cat6A structured cabling system, with more than 1,500 Cat6A outlets and new fibre backbone cabling installed across the building.
The works formed part of a broader building services upgrade, with existing ceiling-space services removed and replaced to accommodate new mechanical services equipment. This required EDC to carefully coordinate the communications infrastructure with other works being delivered across the site.
Working within a compressed programme, the EDC team completed the installation within the required timeframe, providing upgraded data cabling and fibre backbone infrastructure across all five floors.
