EV Charging Infrastructure
EDC Systems QLD completed the electrical infrastructure required to support two new EV chargers at an operational medical facility.
With limited spare capacity available within the existing electrical infrastructure, EDC designed and installed a new system to accommodate the additional charging equipment without affecting the site’s local critical infrastructure.
The works included new submains, a dedicated three-phase distribution board, cable tray and support systems, final subcircuits and associated electrical works. Cabling was installed between multiple levels and through high-traffic underground carpark areas, requiring careful coordination with the client throughout the works.
The electrical supplies and two EV chargers were tested and commissioned in conjunction with NHP on completion.
