Dental Clinic Electrical and Communications Fitout

Working alongside Belnic Constructions, EDC Systems QLD delivered the electrical and communications package for the JJ Smiles Dental Clinic fitout in Oxenford.

The project combined general electrical services with the specialist power and communications infrastructure required throughout the treatment rooms and supporting clinic areas.

EDC’s scope included new power, lighting and emergency lighting, along with electrical infrastructure for dental chairs and associated clinical equipment. Within body-protected areas, the works also included Medilec outlets with 10mA RCD protection.

The communications installation included Cat6 cabling and outlets, a new local communications rack, cabling for CCTV locations and a Cat6 link back to the existing IDF.

Dedicated floor conduits were installed to service the dental chairs, helping coordinate the electrical and communications infrastructure within the completed treatment spaces.

The completed fitout demonstrates EDC’s experience delivering coordinated electrical and communications infrastructure within healthcare and specialist fitout environments.
