Project Overview

EDC Systems QLD completed data and communications works as part of the construction of a new junior learning facility in South East Queensland.

The project included the supply and installation of a Molex Cat6 certified structured cabling system, with Cat6 UTP cabling and communications outlets installed throughout the project area.

EDC also installed an OM4 12-core fibre backbone between the server room and learning block infrastructure, together with a copper voice backbone and upgrades to the existing communications rack.

The completed installation was labelled, tested and commissioned in accordance with applicable Australian Standards and manufacturer requirements, with as-built documentation provided on completion.
